!crosspost!

Hey guys,

my main computer is currently broken, so I can't update my spare wheel
carrier collection (http://www.easy2design.de/bulli/racks) right now,
but i just got some new pictures, which I want to share... promising
solution for the "my carrier is in the way"-problem. The carrier is
supposed to go around all the way enabling you to load and unload more
easily. Supposedly it can also carry bikes, gas cans and whatever
else... here you go:

As i understand, the whole mechanism is already patented and supposed
to be stiff enough to be used as a ladder in every position. It was
made by Dirk16 from German IG16 and is supposed to be commercially
available "soon". Don't know more details on that, though, except that
it "will look much better" than this prototype :D

I'll add more pictures to my collection as soon as I get them and my
computer is back from repair. There is also a movie demonstrating the
mechanism, but i couldn't get my hands on it, yet, as it seems to be
too large for email... I'll see what I can do about that.

See ya,

martin, still looking for input for my winch mount collection! (http://www.easy2design.de/bulli/winches
)
